The IVAO Events Department is pleased to present this edition of the destination Asia: The Destination Bangkok. Come to Asia and make a flight to Don Mueang International Airport (TH, VTBD) from Singapore Changi Airport (XY, WSSS), Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport (ID, WIBB), Biju Patnaik Airport (IN, VEBS), Hong Kong International Airport (XE, VHHH).

Pilots |
>> There is only one way you can participate in this event as a pilot:
> #1: IFR to Mueang International Airport (TH, VTBD) from WSSS, WIBB, VEBS, and VHHH
> You must perform a full flight (from block to block) to VTBD from one of the airports listed above
>> All pilots are kindly requested to:
> Make sure you have a VALID AIRAC.
> Be prepared – have access to charts.
> Note the departure, circuit, and arrival altitude restrictions.
> Be ready – you may be asked to enter holds or given vectors.
> Remember: Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.
> Maintain proper IFR radio communication.
> Follow IFR procedures.
> 
A lot of traffic is expected in VTBD, so please take it into account for your departure time to be in the event’s time frames
> Departures will be allowed from 10z to 13z

>> We are to integrate the IVAO Events Support Award in this event for both Pilots and Controllers, so why not get your engines started or scopes ready and help out making the event a great success!
> Requirements:
– Pilots are required to perform, at least, one flight available as described in the Pilots section, in order to be eligible for the point towards the award. Fly-out from VTBD are not eligible for the ESA point, Fly-in only
– Users participating as an ATC have to comply with the events requirements and be online at least during 1 uninterrupted hour in order to be eligible for the point towards the award.
