It’s time for Phuket.

Phuket International Airport (IATA: HKT, ICAO: VTSP) is the third busiest airport in Thailand. Millions of passengers each year visit Phuket to enjoy a wide range of tourist services, the natural beauty of the world-famous Phuket beaches, and fascinating tourist attractions.

We welcome all pilots to the “Phuket RFE 2024” Event, where you will experience the beauty of the term “Pearl of the Andaman Sea“, a breathtaking destination with natural landscapes of southern Thailand, showcasing lush green forests, the deep blue sea, and the golden glow of the setting sun, cultural heritage, and aviation enthusiasts’ paradise, with golden beaches and a land full of “Smiles“.

We invite you to come and explore the beauty of Thailand. If you’re ready, let’s take off on this journey!

Pilots

>IVAO Thailand Events Department has opted to provide the users with a booking system.

Please note that:
>> Make sure that the AIRAC cycle is up to date.
>> Be prepared – have access to charts and read the pilot briefing HERE
>> You can download scenery HERE.
>> Note the SID & STAR speed/altitude restrictions.
>> Be ready – you may be asked to enter the hold, fly heading and reduce speed.
>> Remember – Aviate, Navigate, Communicate.
>> Maintain radio etiquette.
>> Prepare at least 60-90 minutes of extra fuel due to excessive traffic.

• VTSP_ARR_APP – Phuket Arrival Approach / 120.700
• VTBB_S_CTR – Bangkok Control (South) / 135.500
• VTBB_CTR – Bangkok Control / 128.100

Award

All pilots who participated in this event shall report to the PILOT EVENTS.
They will receive 1 point for the Pilot Events Award.

All ATCs who participated in this event for at least 1-hour session shall report to the ATC EVENTS. (Nearby Bangkok FIR are welcome to report for ATC Point)
They will receive 1 point for the ATC Events Award.

All pilots and ATCs who participated in this event will be issued automatically an Aviation Celebration Tours and Events Award in 7 days. A confirmation email will be sent to you after your flight has been validated.

All pilots and ATCs who participated in this event for at least 1-hour session shall report to the Division Online Day.
They will receive 1 point for the Division Online Day Award.

We are to integrate the IVAO Events Support Award in this event for both Pilots and Controllers, so why not get your engines started or scopes ready and help out making the event a great success!
